Bullhorn cleanup & implementation for staffing agencies
Bought Bullhorn, but your team still works around it?
Independent Bullhorn cleanup, workflow repair, implementation help, and plain-English training for staffing and recruiting agencies that need the system to actually match how the business runs.
The situation
Sound familiar?
-
01
A record enters Bullhorn
-
02
Its status or configuration is unclear
-
03
It disappears from working views
-
04
Nobody acts on it
-
05
Its value goes unused
So the agency spends more time and money replacing something it already had.
None of this means your team failed. It usually means the implementation stopped before the system was finished , no cleanup, no standards, no training, no adoption plan. That's the gap I fill.
- Your team avoids Bullhorn: the real pipeline lives in spreadsheets, inboxes, and memory
- Contacts, leads, candidates, and clients aren't clearly structured, so every search is a gamble
- Reporting doesn't show what's really happening, so decisions run on gut feel
- Implementation happened, but adoption didn't, and nobody was trained properly
- You're not sure what to ask Bullhorn support for, so tickets go nowhere
- The system feels harder than it should, and you're paying for it every month
None of this means your team failed. It usually means the implementation stopped before the system was finished: no cleanup, no standards, no training, no adoption plan. That's the gap I fill.
Three engagements
Start with the audit. Expand if it earns it.
$2,500 flat
Bullhorn System Audit
Find out why your team isn't getting full value from Bullhorn and what needs to be fixed first: setup, lead/contact workflows, candidate statuses, data hygiene, reporting, and training gaps.
You get: a written findings report and an implementation roadmap you could hand to any admin. Book a cleanup within 30 days and the audit fee is credited in full.
First step: a free 30-minute Bullhorn call. The audit only goes ahead if the call shows there's a real problem worth $2,500 to map.
$3,500-$7,500
Bullhorn Cleanup Sprint
The audit, executed: data cleanup, workflow redesign, lead/contact process cleanup, candidate status cleanup, reporting improvements, documentation, and team training.
You get: a clean, documented system your team has been trained on, with a defined finish line.
From $6,500
Implementation + Training
For agencies moving onto Bullhorn or rebuilding after a weak initial implementation: planning, workflow design, configuration support, data migration support, training, and post-launch support.
How the vendor side works: I help you identify what needs to be requested from Bullhorn support, communicate it clearly, and build usable workflows around it once it's in place.
Inside the sprint
Three phases, in order
The audit
Every sprint starts with the fixed-fee audit. I go through your Bullhorn environment and map what's actually there:
- Data health: duplicates, stale records, incomplete candidate and contact data
- Structure: how leads, contacts, companies, and jobs are actually organized, versus how they should be
- Fields, stages, and statuses: what exists, what's used, what's noise
- Workflows: where the recruiting and sales process breaks inside the system
- Usage: how each role actually works today, and where the system gets bypassed
- Reporting: why leadership can't get numbers they trust, and what has to change first
If you stop there, you still have a map any competent admin could execute. Most clients continue into the sprint.
The cleanup
The sprint executes the audit's priority list. Depending on what your system needs, that typically includes:
- Duplicate and inactive record review and cleanup
- Candidate and contact record cleanup and re-categorization
- Lead / contact / account structure repair
- Field, stage, and status rationalization: fewer, clearer, actually used
- Workflow repair so the system matches how your team really sells and recruits
- CRM/ATS usage standards: who enters what, when, and how
Documentation & handoff
Cleanup without adoption is temporary. The sprint ends with:
- Written usage standards in plain language, not a binder nobody opens
- Role-based walkthroughs for recruiters, salespeople, and admins
- A handoff session with whoever owns the system internally
After the sprint
Optimize & maintain
Once the foundation is clean, automation, dashboards, training, and monthly support can build on it. Automation on a messy database just automates the mess, so these come second. See add-ons and monthly support →

What I'll need from you
Three things
- Admin access to your Bullhorn environment
- About an hour a week from someone who knows how the team really works
- A leader willing to say "this is how we use the system now"
